As a Food & Beverage Lead Server, you’ll be the heartbeat of our dining operation, setting the tone for excellence while delivering warm, elevated service in one of Pawleys Island’s most distinctive club environments. This is a role for a confident leader who thrives on creating memorable moments, supporting a team, and exceeding members’ and guests expectations every shift.
The ideal candidate will have prior supervisory experience in a food and beverage environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- All duties of server.
- Work with F&B Manager to place orders and keep accurate inventory.
- Support the planning and execution of golf tournaments, private events, and special functions, ensuring seamless food and beverage service.
- Assist in development of strategies to enhance overall food and beverage experience.
- Accountable for cash handlings and deposits when applicable.
- Light cooking required depending on location.
- Maintain club appearance and keep storage areas clean and organized.
- Conduct behavior towards employees and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Verify accuracy of prices, tips and other charges on all guest checks and accurately operate the POS system.
- Assist F&B Manager with payroll and other reporting.
- Additional tasks as assigned.
Safety Responsibilities:
- Must wear non-slip shoes.
- Report all injuries and hazard concerns to management immediately.
- Minimum 2 years experience in food and beverage.
- Good computer skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Point of Sale experience required.
- Ability to interact well with others in a team environment.
- Must have or obtain soon after hire the Food Handlers manager certification and the SCDOR Alcohol certification (company paid if you do not possess)
