What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substance Abuse Behavioral Health Technician position at Foundations Wellness Center?
The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of the clients in our care. They provide transportation between the client residences and the treatment facility, light housekeeping, supervision of UA's, and ensure that important information is communicated to clinical team and leadership as appropriate.
- Oversees adherence a daily structure for clients
- Supervises clients at the clinical offices
- Transports clients to and from appointments and meetings, when necessary.
- Educates new clients about the rules
- Orientates new clients to the facility
- Follows Infection Control Guidelines at all times
- Completes and forwards copy of Incident Reports and any other safety/risk issues immediately to leadership
- Conducts Waived tests as required
- Perform minor maintenance/cleaning.
- Supervise clients during activities off site.
- Assists in emergency situations as directed.
- Understands and maintains confidentiality of clients’ information and records.
Applicants must be 21 years of age or older and have a clean driving history for the past 4 years. A motor vehicle report will be ran to screen applicants in order to be placed on the insurance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
