Hours: Flexible / Part-Time or Full-Time (your choice)

Compensation: $125.00-$140.00 per hour starting rate

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Contract Psychotherapist to join our practice. This role is ideal for a clinician who thrives in a private practice setting and wants the autonomy of independent work with the support of a well-established team. The therapist will provide high-quality outpatient psychotherapy to self-referred and practice-referred clients, manage clinical documentation, and maintain a strong therapeutic alliance with each client.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy (in-person and/or telehealth).
• Conduct intake assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain progress notes.
• Maintain ethical and professional standards consistent with state licensing regulations.
• Manage your own schedule and caseload.
• Collaborate with practice leadership and colleagues when appropriate for consultation and case support.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy.
• Active, unrestricted clinical license in Virginia (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, or PhD).
• Minimum of 5 years post-licensure experience preferred.
• Experience using an integrative therapy model is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Commitment to providing culturally competent and inclusive care.
