Occupational Therapist (Pediatric Clinic-Based)

At Foundations Pediatric Therapy, we believe a child’s most important work is PLAY. We are a child-led, family-centered pediatric therapy practice dedicated to helping children build the skills they need to thrive.
We provide Occupational, Speech, and Physical Therapy services throughout the Treasure Valley with opportunities in clinic, school-based, and home-based infant/toddler settings.
We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our growing team.
Position Overview
This role is primarily clinic-based, with additional opportunities available in school and home-based settings if desired. We welcome both experienced pediatric therapists and new graduates looking for strong mentorship and support.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for pediatric clients
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child’s unique needs
- Provide engaging, play-based therapy sessions using child-centered approaches
- Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
- Educate families with practical strategies for home success
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation of treatment progress
- Participate in re-evaluations, progress updates, and discharge planning
- Optional opportunities in school-based or home-based programs
Requirements
- Valid Idaho Occupational Therapy License (or ability to obtain)
- NBCOT Certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization and time-management skills
- Compassionate, family-focused approach to care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Adaptability across different therapy settings
Qualifications
- Pediatric experience preferred, but not required
- New graduates encouraged to apply
