Recovery Specialist/Driver
Foundations Group Recovery Centers is a certified, accredited substance use disorder and addiction treatment center that offers an array of services supported by a team of knowledgeable and experienced staff. We are dedicated to helping individuals find long term and meaningful recovery.
A Recovery Specialist performs a variety of tasks to assist individuals in their recovery process. These tasks include recovery and wellness support, mentoring, and advocacy. As a driver, this person will maintain the highest levels of professionalism, confidentiality, and safety. This role will also perform operational responsibilities for maintaining the fleet.
Essential Functions
Observes and documents relevant patient information. Monitors patient behavior, schedule, activities and intervenes/reports any unusual behavior, conflicts, or recovery deviations to the relevant professionals.
Dependable, safe driver with a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Punctual for drop offs and pickups at designated locations.
Ability to check traffic, road conditions and plan alternate routes to ensure an on-time arrival.
Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle (interior and exterior)
Uses knowledge of local area, GPS, and/or mapping applications to avoid high traffic areas and to ensure the shortest and safest routes.
Coordinates and responds to appointments in a timely manner through various communication both with staff and/or clients.
Knowledge of 12-step treatment models and its application in residential treatment
Possess strong ethical standards and maintaining professional boundary standards at all times.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience
A candidate for this position must have a minimum of a high school diploma. Lived experience with substance use disorder preferred. For applicants with lived experience with substance use disorder, 6 months of sustained and uninterrupted recovery. Must maintain a valid Driver’s License and a safe driving record. Must demonstrate a positive, non-judgmental, and accepting attitude toward our patient population.

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
