What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Liaison position at Foundations Family Law & Mediation Center?
This is an inbound sales position. The Office Liaison’s primary duties include screening and pre-qualifying leads; explaining the Firm’s process for intake and engagement; communicating brand differentiators and value proposition; encouraging qualified leads to schedule initial consultations and collecting payment; initiating the pre-engagement glidepath; capturing information in the Contact Relationship Management (CRM); following up with leads that do not schedule or attend an initial consultation; sending out contracts for engagement; selling mediation and prenuptial/postnuptial agreement packages; and reporting on assigned metrics.Compensation: Salary Range: $45,000 - $50,000 annual base paid hourly (depending on experience); bonus compensation available for meeting/exceeding defined KPIs up to $4,500 per quarter.Compensation:$45,000 - $50,000 yearly DOE plus bonusResponsibilities:Respond promptly and professionally to incoming calls, emails, and online inquiries from prospective clients dealing with matters such as divorce, custody, support, or domestic violence.Manage inbound leads from our Google paid search campaigns and referrals.Conduct initial intake interviews (“Discovery Calls”) to gather relevant personal and legal information, assess the nature of the case, and determine whether it aligns with the firm’s services.Timely input of client data into the CRM and ensure all information is accurately captured.Encourage leads to schedule paid initial consultations with attorneys and provide prospective clients with required documentation and instructions.Sell mediation and prenuptial/postnuptial agreement packages.Follow a sales process.Follow up with potential clients who have not yet scheduled consultations.Maintain strict confidentiality and a non-judgmental, supportive demeanor at all times.Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to ensure a seamless handoff from intake to onboarding.Run a routine report on assigned metrics.Provide administrative support as needed.Qualifications:RequiredHigh school diploma or GEDAt least 1–2 years of experience in a client-facing role, preferably in a legal or professional services settingExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong emotional intelligence and the ability to handle sensitive family law issues with empathyProficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with client intake or CRM softwarePreferredPrevious experience in a family law office or legal intake roleFamiliarity with legal terms related to divorce, custody, support, and protection ordersExperience with legal software (e.g., Clio, MyCase, PracticePanther)Previous sales experienceKey Skills & Attributes:Compassionate and composed under pressureHighly organized and detail-orientedExcellent listener and communicatorAbility to maintain confidentiality and professionalismComfortable working remotelyAbout CompanyFoundations Family Law & Mediation Center (“FFL”) is an intentionally different family law firm.
