We are hiring speech-language pathology assistants in a school-based supportive setting. We staff several schools for Speech & OT in Arizona, you'll be part of a dynamic team at this school and supervised by one of our own SLPs!
Now hiring for the remaining portion of the 2026 school year, this is a part-time position as an Independent Contractor. This is not home health!

== Job Duties ==
- Professional Responsibility: You are the school’s SLPA with its natural set of typical duties attendant to the role. Adherence to state law and rules governing the practice of your license and federal law and rules governing IEPs and 504 Plans is mandatory. Adherence to ASHA Code of Conduct for Assistants, especially continuity of care.
- Implementing Therapy Plans: Carry out individual or group therapy sessions with students targeting specific therapy goals.
- Monitoring Progress: Track and document students' progress during therapy sessions, provide valuable feedback to the SLP.
- Creating and Preparing Materials: Assist in creating or preparing therapy materials, aids, and resources to support students' learning and development.
- Providing Classroom Support: Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to implement strategies that facilitate speech and language skills within the classroom environment.
- Supporting Home Practice: Work with students to ensure that therapy goals are reinforced through activities at home.
- Recordkeeping and Reporting: Maintain up-to-date, accurate records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other necessary documentation in order to be compliant with laws and rules.
Required
- Current, active state license or qualified as an SLPA intern
- Able to pass a background check and fingerprint clearance to work in an educational setting
- Must have own laptop
- Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the facility
- Maintains professional working relationships with all team members
- Able to take feedback from colleagues, administrators, teachers, and parents
