Workforce Development Specialist, AgSTEP Student Success Imperial Valley College, Imperial, California We are seeking a Workforce Development Specialist to join FoundationCCC in its mission of benefiting, supporting, and enhancing the California Community Colleges—the largest and most diverse system of higher education in the nation. What You’ll Do AgTech educational pathways and AgStep certification programs (AgTech/AgStep) are workforce development programs designed to prepare students for careers in modern agriculture and agricultural technology. The AgTech/AgStep programs support the development of a community of practice and scaling of successful agricultural programs throughout California. The Foundation for California Community Colleges is seeking an individual to join the AgTech/AgStep program at Imperial Valley College (IVC) to connect students to available program opportunities and program benefits, collect and maintain student data needed for program reporting, collaborate with other IVC program representatives, act as a student-centered liaison between FoundationCCC and IVC, and support the success of AgTech/AgStep program goals. Interface with students, faculty, department leadership, FoundationCCC staff, community partners and vendors to coordinate the employment opportunities. Plan, coordinate, facilitate, and conduct outreach and recruitment activities, orientations, workshops and events for AgTech/AgStep program participants. Coordinates phases of the grants process, including budgeting, data gathering and maintaining compliance. Serves as liaison person between students, the college district and with other community organizations. Determine student initial and ongoing eligibility for program or services; track individual student and cohort progress, and provide regular reports to management and agencies as requested. Budgeted Annual Salary Pay Range: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.
