Industry Partnerships Associate, LAUNCH Remote within California, Must reside in California. Travel within the Inland Empire. What You’ll Do The Foundation for California Community Colleges is on a mission to expand equitable pathways to economic mobility through education, workforce development, and apprenticeship. The LAUNCH Apprenticeship Network supports meaningful connections between students, educational institutions, workforce systems, and employers through high-quality work-based learning opportunities with an emphasis on registered apprenticeship. This position will play a critical role in implementing the HRTP grant by supporting outreach to employers, industry associations, workforce boards, educational institutions, and community-based organizations to strengthen apprenticeship ecosystems and increase access to high-quality earn-and-learn opportunities for historically underserved populations. Leads targeted outreach and engagement with Inland Empire employers across advanced manufacturing, cybersecurity, and clean economy sectors to build and expand registered apprenticeship partnerships. Supports the development and implementation of registered apprenticeship programs by assisting employers and partners with program design, onboarding processes, registration requirements, and alignment to California Division of Apprenticeship Standards (DAS) and U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) frameworks. Develops and disseminates outreach materials, presentations, and informational resources to increase employer awareness and participation in apprenticeship opportunities. Provides technical assistance and consultative support to employers, educational institutions, workforce boards, and community-based organizations to increase understanding and adoption of apprenticeship models and work-based learning strategies. Attributes for Success Knowledge of workforce development systems, including registered apprenticeship models and basic understanding of DAS/DOL apprenticeship processes (or ability to quickly learn). Familiarity with employer engagement, outreach strategies, or partnership development within education or workforce development settings. Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. 3 years of experience preferred in workforce development, employer engagement, education partnerships, nonprofit programs, or related field preferred. Budgeted Annual Salary Pay Range: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.
