What are the responsibilities and job description for the Jr. Business Analyst position at Foundation Software?
As a Jr. Business Analyst, you will lead analysis tasks for smaller, lower-complexity initiatives and enhancements while developing foundational business analysis skills. You will focus on accurate documentation, validation, and execution under guidance progressively building independence and analytical depth.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, and document functional requirements for assigned initiatives
- Create requirements documentation including user stories, flow models, and acceptance criteria
- Track and report progress using standardized tools and dashboards
- Maintain project documentation in alignment with PMO templates and standards
- Participate in reviews, walkthroughs, and validation sessions
- Support senior analysts and project teams as needed
- Continuously develop business analysis skills and domain knowledge
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 0 – 2 years of Business Analyst or related professional experience
- Foundational understanding of business analysis concepts and terminology
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Basic understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a structured environment
