Summary

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with expertise in site civil engineering to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site grading, stormwater drainage design, water and sewer systems, and drainage analysis and reporting.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in site civil engineering
• Demonstrated experience with site grading and stormwater drainage design
• Proven experience designing water distribution and sanitary sewer systems
• Experience conducting drainage analysis and preparing technical reports
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, codes, and standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 12 months
• Professional Engineering registration in multiple states
• Experience with hydraulic and hydrologic modeling software
• Knowledge of municipal design standards and permitting processes
• Experience with multi-state projects
• Project management experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop site grading plans for various project types including commercial, industrial, residential, and mixed-use developments
• Design comprehensive stormwater drainage systems, including storm sewers, detention/retention facilities, and conveyance structures
• Design water distribution and sanitary sewer collection systems for both onsite and offsite applications
• Conduct onsite and offsite stormwater drainage analysis using industry-standard software and methodologies
• Prepare detailed drainage reports, water reports, and sewer reports in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Coordinate with project teams, clients, and regulatory agencies throughout the design and approval process
• Review and check engineering drawings and calculations for accuracy and compliance with applicable codes and standards
• Provide construction phase support including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and conducting site visits
