What You Will Do:
- Develop and implement project plans to achieve strategic objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Manage project objectives to ensure delivery of business impact.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure successful completion.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Identify follow-ups and action items and track to ensure timely completion.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing project team environment.
- Utilize project management tools and methodologies to track and report on project performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA is highly preferred.
- PMP certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on strategic projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Experience in the funeral services industry or a related field.
- Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
