Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT1)

We are seeking to hire a Part-Time Phlebotomist to join our team!

Schedule: Monday through Friday 7am-2pm

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Collect, process and store samples from patients
• Monitor storage and inventory of supplies
• Maintain a clean and healthy work environment
• Adhere to laboratory safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Applicant must have a current, valid CPT1 License issued by California Department of Public Health
• Experience in geriatrics and pediatrics is preferred
• Previous experience in phlebotomy - minimum of 1 year is required
• Experience working as a phlebotomist in a laboratory is a plus
• Regular, reliable and predictable attendance required
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Familiarity with medical software, equipment and terminology required
• Strong organizational skills
• Prior experience with insurance verification process a plus
