Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new client relationships through outside sales efforts, including telemarketing and community outreach
- Present insurance options tailored to client needs, clearly explaining coverage details and benefits
- Negotiate policy terms with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that meet their needs
- Manage sales administration tasks such as documentation, follow-up, and CRM updates efficiently
- Collaborate with marketing teams to implement strategies that attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations such as HIPAA when handling sensitive information
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client bases effectively
- Familiarity with sales administration tools and analysis skills for tracking performance metrics
- Experience in insurance sales or related fields is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Excellent communication skills, both bilingual (if applicable) and in English, to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds
