Assistant Coordinator of Technology and Communications
The New Jersey Principals and Supervisors Association is seeking a creative, organized, and
technology-proficient professional to serve as Assistant Coordinator of Technology and
Communications. This full-time, on-site position supports both the Technology Department and
the Communications Office and plays an essential role in ensuring seamless technology
operations, professional learning support, member engagement, and organizational
communications.

technology issues, supporting live events, creating engaging social media content, and assisting

Key Responsibilities
Technology and Event Support
- Provide on-site technical support for NJPSA professional learning sessions, meetings,
- Ensure microphones, laptops, projectors, audio systems, presentation technology, and
- Troubleshoot audio/visual and connectivity issues in real time.
- Assist presenters, staff, and participants with technical needs and support requests.
- Respond to technology support inquiries submitted through the NJPSA website, email,
- Support NJPSA staff with computer setup, troubleshooting, software updates, and
- Review and maintain technology inventory and assist with ordering equipment and office
- Assist with maintaining technology documentation and technology inventory and
- Communications and Marketing Support
- Manage and monitor NJPSA social media platforms by posting content that promotes
event highlights.
Communications
- Create engaging live and post-event social media updates showcasing NJPSA activities
- Collaborate with the Marketing Director to design promotional and marketing materials.
- Assist in the creation and distribution of promotional email campaigns to targeted
- Update and edit website content within the NJPSA content management system.
- Support organizational branding and communications initiatives through digital and print
- Capture event photography and assist with visual storytelling efforts when needed.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in communications, marketing, information technology,
- Experience supporting technology systems, audio/visual equipment, and live event
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop,
- Ability to manage social media platforms and create digital marketing content.
- Familiarity with website content management systems and email marketing platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
- Photography and basic video editing skills are a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work collaboratively across departments.
- Ability to work on-site five days per week and support occasional evening events or
