The purpose of the Inventory Coordinator position is to manage the inventory accuracy of the Media Center and to fulfill inventory requests. Regular duties include student registration, receiving and stocking inventory, and the completion of Federal Quota orders.
Job Duties include:
- Maintain an accurate database of the library
- Includes student registrations (ADE and APH Census) and inventory
- Assist with Ex Officio Trustee managing district spending – Accounts 8 and 9
- Generate quarterly and bi-annual reports for National Library of Congress (NLS) and Az. Dept. of Education (ADE)
- Prepare the following for Media Technicians and volunteers:
- Packaging orders of adaptive materials and equipment
- Brailler repairs
- Diagnose mechanical issue
- Generate purchase orders for brailler repairs
- Receive repaired braillers into the system
- Manage the inventory space
- Shipping and receiving of supplies/products
- Purging obsolete supplies and keeping it orderly and clean
- Federal Quota Order Retention – track and monitor spending for Federal Quota accounts
- Receive and distribute incoming mail and packages, notifying staff upon receipt
- Process returns of materials back into FBC inventory
- Select and process NLS books
- Identify Media Center ‘bottleneck’ and support coworkers with additional duties as needed
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation
- Intermediate Microsoft Office and basic computer skills required
- Experience working in electronic database systems required
- Knowledge of basic office procedures and equipment required
- Ability to work well in a team-based environment
- Arizona fingerprint clearance card or the ability to obtain within 90 days
