Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of vehicles. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic testing, maintenance, and repairs on all types of vehicles (gasoline, diesel, or hybrid).
Conduct inspections and identify mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Perform routine services such as oil changes, brake jobs, tire rotations, alignments, and fluid checks.
Repair or replace parts according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
Document repair orders, parts used, and work performed accurately.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in compliance with safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with service advisors and team members about vehicle issues and repair timelines.
Stay current with new automotive technology and participate in ongoing training and certifications.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in automotive repair preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic (ASE certification a plus).
Strong understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
Proficient with computerized diagnostic tools and service equipment.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Salary : $26 - $40
