Salary range: - $75,000k - $85,000k DOE; Full time permanent position

Degree in microbiology, biology, chemistry, environmental sciences, physical sciences, or engineering

This is an excellent opportunity to join a global pharmaceuticals organisation in a Site Laboratory Operations Manager appointment. You will have responsibly for the site including several large pharmaceutical’s contracts blood and tissue drug samples ensuring all KPI’s, industry compliance / audits are achieved, plus be the main point of contact for customers internal & external global pharma, biomanufacturing, biologics distribution, storage and manage the site operations, storage, samples, labs and distribution teams.

• Day to day site management of the Pharma / Life Science facility: - Storage and distribution
• Pharmaceutical and biomanufacturing experience
•  cGMP-compliant biostorage facilities
• Clinical Sample Logistics and Biostorage
• Planning, Operations, H&S, investigations
• Customer Service / Client Management
• Maximising commercial opportunities

The key responsibilities: -

• Day to day site management of the storage facility and Labs
• Deliver services to the portfolio of customers from the life Science / pharma sector
• Ensure that the activities and teams are performed within the quality performance indicators and according to the relevant Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensure integrity of customer products are maintained at all times.
• Manage cGMP-compliant and audits - biostorage facilities
• Manage and oversee resources, including strategies for building and updating fleets, hiring, training, keeping, and meeting customer demand based on set performance goals.
• Act as main point of contact on a national level to develop and exceed customer expectations.
• Sales maximisation – Responsible for continual sales maximisation by means of regular contact with all customers.
• Ensure adherence to safety, legal, and policy standards through audits, operational safety measures, and meeting health and safety goals and performance benchmarks.
• Provide operational solutions that exceed customer expectations based on set performance goals, including managing fleets and drivers at all locations, handling deliveries, optimizing routes between depots, and managing returns throughout the UK, while also offering additional services to meet budget goals.
• Facilitate the natural expansion of the business by conducting Supply Chain Mapping analyses and developing Joint Account Plans, and by supporting the design and development of solutions for new business ventures aimed at achieving sustainable growth.
• Customer Service – Responsible for the delivery of a high standard of Customer Service against agreed targets.

Person Specification: -

-     Previous experience of working within Pharmaceutical Storage supply chain environment

-     Previous experience of life sciences multi customer lab operation

-     Degree in microbiology, biology, chemistry, environmental sciences, physical sciences, or engineering
