Maintenance Technician

Join our team as a dependable Maintenance Technician specializing in a variety of interior and exterior repairs, with a strong focus on carpentry. This role includes drywall patching, tile and drop-ceiling replacement, storm door and door-closer installations, cabinet and hardware repairs, window screen fixes, rain-gutter work, and other general maintenance tasks. We’re looking for someone motivated to grow, willing to learn new skills, and able to participate in an on-call rotation!

Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Hours: 7:30AM- 4:00PM Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week. Must be available for an on-call rotation system that responds to community maintenance concerns after normal business hours.
Pay: $22.00 -$25.00 per hour to commensurate with experience
Department: Facilities Maintenance
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reliable handyman skilled at performing a wide range of mostly carpentry related repairs and general home repairs (interior/exterior)
- Spackle - perform dry wall patches using appropriate ready mix joint compound for efficiency
- Ceramic floor tile repairs, precise drop ceiling tile replacement
- Installation of storm doors, installation of door closers
- Kitchen cabinet repairs/door replacement
- Repair window screens, replace broken refrigerator handles, etc..
- Rain gutter repairs
- Willing to grow and learn new skills
- On-call Rotation requirement
- Other duties as assigned
Experience/Education
- Completion a community college or technical school preferred
- Minimum 3 years of related experience in residential and commercial environments
- Combination of education and experience considered
- Attention to Detail
- Computer skills a plus!
Requirements
- Background check
- TB Quantiferon Gold test
- Mandatory flu shot, during flu season
- Valid driver’s license
