Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team in a personal loan office in Houma, LA. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. You will be responsible for addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience for all customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for helping others. This is a Part-Time position.
Responsibilities
- Managing a cash drawer (including all associated functions: taking payments, cutting checks, etc.)
- Taking and clearing loan applications
- Answering telephones and greeting customers in a professional manner
- Providing direct customer service to customers
- Conducting solicitation for additional business as assigned by management
- Performing other job-related activities as assigned by management
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service is preferred.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Proficiency in using computers and various software applications.
- Demonstrated ability to type efficiently while communicating with customers.
- Familiarity with cash handling processes is a plus.
