At Foth, our internships go beyond the office—they put you at the center of real-world engineering. As a Civil Engineering Intern, you’ll contribute to aviation-focused projects that improve essential infrastructure for safe and efficient air travel. Based in our Birmingham, AL office for Summer 2026, this opportunity offers hands-on experience supporting design and reporting work that helps airports meet the needs of today and tomorrow.
\n- Collaborate with experienced aviation design professionals
- Support design activities for aviation-related projects using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Prepare construction documents and technical reports
- Assist with plan development and submission packages
- Perform routine civil engineering tasks under the supervision of a licensed engineer
- Participate in aviation site visits as needed
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
