Roles & Responsibilities
· Proactively identify and recommend new investment opportunities and market themes, demonstrating a genuine passion for understanding market trends, company performance, and the factors driving investment returns.
· Monitor and evaluate existing portfolio holdings, assessing performance, underlying fundamentals, competitive positioning, and potential risks or opportunities.
· Conduct due diligence on investment managers, funds, and other investment vehicles, developing informed recommendations that support investment decisions.
· Actively contribute to monthly Investment Committee meetings, bringing forward thoughtful analysis, independent perspectives, and well-supported investment ideas.
· Participate in quarterly Best Execution Committee meetings, contributing insights and recommendations as appropriate.
· Maintain, optimize, and enhance investment research software and tools to support effective investment analysis and decision-making.
· Provide support for trading functions as needed.
Basic Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree
· 2-5 years of relevant experience preferred; demonstrated investment knowledge and analytical ability will also be considered.
· CFA designation or progress toward obtaining the designation preferred but not required.
· Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain investment ideas and findings.
· Self-motivated, curious, and eager to continue developing investment knowledge and expertise.
