The ideal candidate will be a CPA licensed in New York State with a minimum of 3 years recent public accounting firm experience in accounting, auditing and tax. Candidates should be able to research complex accounting and tax issues; be proficient in the use of applicable technology; specifically, Microsoft 365, QuickBooks, and CCH Axcess; have excellent communication skills; be well organized with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail; as well as the ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize assignments.
Responsibilities will include financial statement preparation for business clients and tax preparation, tax planning and consulting for business, nonprofit, individual and fiduciary clients.
