- Provide maintenance support for the Belgravia facility by maintaining and repairing machinery in various areas including evisceration, packaging, and W&P.
- Indicate the major day to day problems you encounter and the solution to these problems
- What actions you take independently and what requires approval by higher authority
- Determine job requirement and provide for safety
- Help maintain quality and food safety to insure compliance with company quality standards and USDA requirements
Includes but is not limited to:
- Must have five years experience in poultry processing maintenance or related field
- Must be able to troubleshoot and make “on the spot” corrections to emergency situations
- Must be able to weld, arc, and heli-arc, and use cutting torch
- Must have good written and oral communication skills, in English.
- Must be self motivated and able to work with a minimum of supervision
- Must be able to lift 50LBS
- Must be able to work from ladder, safely
- A mechanical test will be administered and utilized to determine skill level
- Must be able to work rotating shifts and weekends as required
- Must be willing to cross train in processing maintenance area
- Must be able to stand for prolong periods of time (8-10HRS) on a concrete/metal grate floor
- Maintain management standards.
