Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license (required or ability to obtain quickly)
- Sales experience preferred
- Strong customer service and consultative selling skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up abilities
- Self-motivated and comfortable managing time in a hybrid work setting
- Experience with agency management systems and quoting platforms preferred
Responsibilities
- Sell personal lines insurance products including auto, home, renters, condo, umbrella, and recreational policies
- Quote, bind, and issue new business in accordance with carrier guidelines
- Prospect through inbound leads, outbound calls, referrals, cross-selling, and community networking
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships to maximize retention and referrals
- Meet or exceed established sales and activity goals
- Accurately document client interactions and policies in the agency management system
- Stay current on carrier products, underwriting requirements, and state regulations
