Marketing Intern
Job Title: Marketing Intern
Reports to: Director of Operations Marketing
Job Summary
The Marketing Intern will support the marketing team in implementing strategies and campaigns to increase brand awareness, engagement, and outreach. This role offers hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, social media management, event coordination, and market research. The intern will assist in day-to-day tasks such as developing promotional materials, tracking campaign performance, and supporting internal and external communications. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with strong communication skills, creativity, and an eagerness to learn about the field of marketing.
Essential Functions
● Responsible for assisting the Director in the writing, production, coordination, and maintenance of the materials required to successfully market F H.
● Review current marketing trends and advertisements to determine the effectiveness of different styles and strategies.
● Research competitors to stay current with similar products or services on the market
● Work with both the sales and marketing departments to develop successful strategies and campaigns that attract new customers and keep current clients.
● Collaborate with other executives to make high-level decisions regarding the budget and the direction of the company.
● Assist in creating and maintain a successful brand and image that attracts customers to the product or service.
● Hep develop marketing strategies for new products or services that comply with current company standards.
● Maintains effective communications with staff and leadership team; delivers professional communications.
● Prioritizes and adjusts to the changing demands of the position.
● Handles and adapts to stressful situations.
● Oversees and develops community relationships and partnerships for events such as, fundraising, awareness events, Foster Family Night Outs, Foster Interest nights, Donations and Essentials Project.
● Inspires the organization to identify and accomplish shared goals.
● Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity, ingenuity and inventiveness in the performance of duties.
● Performs other duties as assigned.
● Must have a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance if there is a need to travel locally during job duties.
Qualifications
● Working towards or completion of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
● Must pass a criminal background check that meets required state standards.
Typical Physical Requirements
● While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and communicate with others. This may be over the phone, in person, or through email and messaging. The employee must be able to hear customers and agents over the phone.
● The employee is frequently required to sit, stand; walk, and use their hands and fingers to work with the computer, phones, filing cabinets, paperwork, etc.
● Some travel may be required.
