The most important thing we’re seeking in this position is finding the RIGHT person, a good attitude and a desire to learn and grow can outweigh some deficiencies in experience or capabilities.*Job Overview*As a CAD Detailer/Exhibition Designer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and innovative exhibition designs that captivate audiences and effectively communicate the intended message. You will contribute to the design process by developing environments and structures for physical solutions based upon given parameter; (budget, space, objectives, etc.). You will collaborate with various stakeholders to bring concepts to life in physical spaces, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing experience for visitors.Adhere to project schedules, ensuring timely handoffs to detailing teams. Efficiently manage time and workload to meet project deadlines, collaborating regularly with Creative and Design Leadership. Maintain organized CAD files and detailed design documentation, including estimation packages, renderings, and black-and-white drawing sets. Present concepts to internal teams, manage revisions, and resubmit as required. Apply best practices and experience to enhance project outcomes, with a desire to learn about custom and system fabrication to improve design approaches.*Duties*Develop creative and visually appealing exhibition designs that align with project objectivesUtilize software such as Rhinoceros 3D, AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design tools to create detailed plans and renderingsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate multimedia elements, lighting, and interactive components into the exhibition designEnsure designs comply with technical specifications and safety regulationsManage project timelines and budgets effectively to deliver high-quality results on scheduleParticipate in design reviews to ensure alignment with project requirementsPerform the role of a CAD detailer for various production projectsAttend production launch meetings, and contribute to meetings by providing technical expertise and knowledge to the teamCreate parts files for use on the CNC routerAssist on projects within the team as needed in order to meet project timelinesEvaluate 3-D design drawings, renderings, engineering blueprints and other client and vendor documentation to ensure compatibility, quality and detail level meets requirementsCommunicate with stakeholders and department leaders to collect information necessary to complete accurate and timely detail printsDetermine initial timelines for production drawings, floor plans and set up drawingsMaintain a current knowledge of industry trends and practicesResearch and develop specific types of products or services needed per design requirements*Qualifications*Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar programsStrong understanding of mechanical design principles and system design conceptsExcellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentAttention to detail and a keen eye for aestheticsBachelor's degree in Exhibition Design, Architecture, or related field (preferred)Previous experience in exhibition design or related field (preferred)Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingHealth insurance Paid time offAbility to Relocate:Oceanside, CA 92056: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
