Job Summary

This role is responsible for managing core financial operations, operational analytics, and performance reporting for the company. The position supports company owners by ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective commission payroll processing, data-driven analysis of advertising and inventory performance, and resolution of discrepancies with vendors and warehouses.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Reporting

  • Reconcile company bank accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
  • Process and pay company bills in a timely and accurate manner
  • Calculate and administer commission-based payroll
  • Prepare and report financial information to company owners, including summaries and analysis as needed

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Pull reports from internal databases to analyze advertising performance
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of advertised specials and promotions using data-driven analysis
  • Present findings and insights to management to support business decisions

Rebate & Promotion Administration

  • Manage mail-in rebate programs, including receiving and tracking redemption forms
  • Verify customer purchases to confirm eligibility for gift cards or rebates
  • Ensure accurate fulfillment of rebate incentives and resolve discrepancies

  • Inventory & Shipping Performance Analysis

    • Analyze shipping performance and fill rates to identify trends and issues
    • Determine whether specific SKUs are contributing to inventory shortages or fulfillment problems
    • Monitor operational metrics related to order fulfillment and inventory accuracy

    Dispute Resolution & Vendor Coordination

    • Investigate and dispute reported item shortages when records indicate full shipment
    • Dispute fill-rate penalties or fines when receiving warehouses incorrectly count inventory
    • Communicate with vendors, warehouses, and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies efficiently



    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • Disciplined individual used to self-management 
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to proactively recognize priorities and needs
    • Experience with financial reconciliation, accounts payable, and payroll calculations
    • Ability to work with databases and reports to extract and analyze data
    • High attention to detail and accuracy
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills

    Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

    • Experience with commission-based compensation structures
    • Familiarity with inventory management, logistics, or supply chain metrics
    • Experience disputing vendor or warehouse discrepancies
    • Advanced Excel or data analysis skills
    • Used to face pace and multi tasking

Salary based on experience and will be discussed during interview process. This position requires you to be in the office.
