The Studio Operations team at Fossil Group supports the people, processes, and technology that bring our brands’ content strategies to life. Partnering closely with Creative Services, Global Marketing, and Brand Creative teams, we deliver high-quality content in a fast-paced, digital environment.
The Senior Photographer is responsible for executing creative strategies across all product categories, from concept through final delivery. This role collaborates with stylists, art directors, and cross-functional teams to produce compelling seasonal campaign imagery and ensure alignment with brand standards.
Key responsibilities include maintaining and evolving photography guidelines, ensuring timely delivery of assets, managing workflow and production metrics, and partnering with studio teams to uphold quality and consistency. This role also plays a key part in mentoring junior team members and contributing to the evolution of creative direction.
This role is a hybrid position, requiring you to be onsite Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

What You Will Do In This Role
- Create feature product photography for web, print, and wholesale use for all brands through use of creative lighting and compositions
- Photograph on figure shoots with a full crew (including models, stylists, art/creative directors, producer, etc), in house or on location
- Collaborate & concept with art directors and stylists to test concepts and ideas that help support the overall creative direction for each brand
- Create new lighting patterns and compositions that support each brand's seasonal creative direction
- Photograph in Fossil studios or on location as required by project
- Monitor critical areas of workflow to ensure integrity at every stage of the photographic process with an eye towards improvement of existing creative process
- Actively maintain the Feature Photography Creative Standards Guide to ensure a clear and accurate repeatable process
- Partner with Studio Ops Managers, Photo Assistants, Art/Creative Directors, Stylists, Producer, and Samples Coordinator to ensure all due dates are met
- Participate in weekly staff meetings with feature photographers related directly to workflow improvement and image consistency
- Review competitor websites in order to judge quality of photography compared to Fossil's and bring creative solutions to any image improvements needed
- Maintain studio's working environment by keeping it neat and organized
- Bachelor’s degree in photography preferred
- 5-8 Years of studio / photography experience
- High Proficiency in CaptureOne required
- Proficient in Mac Platform, Google Suite, Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of lighting systems and small and medium format cameras, digital and film
- Video experience is a plus
- Highly developed communication skills, both written & verbal
- Industry knowledge around evolving landscape of new technologies
- Effective negotiation and relationship building skills
- Experience in project management tool is a bonus
- Ability to multitask and to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
