What You Will Do In This Role
- Serve as a key member of the Merchandise Planning & Assortment Strategy group with continuous input into Category goals, objectives, and strategies
- Synthesize information across a variety of sources to drive meaningful insights and make actionable recommendations
- Collect and analyze data on market conditions and competitors, such as base price, sales trend, product assortment, distribution methodology
- Understand internal product sales trends within a category, drill down to identify problems and opportunities
- Analyze results to identify ways of maximizing sales and market penetration of current brands and products
- Convert findings and complex data into user-friendly tables, written reports and graphs for key stakeholders and business partners
- Work collaboratively across various internal organizations to help secure commitment for identified category efforts
- Create high-quality presentations / deliverables for internal and external audience

- 2 –4 years’ combined industry experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience in the consumer and retail industries
- Big-picture thinker with exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to network and develop strong relationships with multiple cross functional teams
- Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint, Google Suite of Products
- Strong financial acumen
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), influencing, and diplomacy skills
- Self-starter who is results driven and action oriented
