Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, providing essential custodial services that uphold our standards of cleanliness and professionalism.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain high standards of floor care, including carpet cleaning and polishing hard floors
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials to ensure readiness for guest needs
- Handle laundry duties as required, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
- Follow established safety procedures during cleaning tasks to ensure a safe working environment
- Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly for resolution
- Adhere to hotel or facility policies regarding hygiene standards and confidentiality
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services; hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning efficiently
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during shifts
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks over extended periods
- Experience in industrial cleaning or housekeeping management is a plus but not required
