Position Summary
Foss Security is seeking an energetic, outgoing, and self-motivated Business Development & Community Outreach Specialist to help drive growth throughout the Sioux Falls area.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting new people, building relationships, networking within the community, and creating opportunities for our sales team. The right candidate will serve as the face of Foss Security by developing new business relationships and strengthening existing customer connections.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person business visits and cold walk-ins throughout Sioux Falls and surrounding communities.
- Reconnect with previous customers and maintain ongoing relationships.
- Generate and qualify new leads for the sales team.
- Build relationships with local businesses, organizations, and referral partners.
- Participate in community events and networking opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement creative marketing campaigns and outreach initiatives.
- Assist with social media, community engagement, and brand awareness efforts.
- Track prospect interactions and follow-up activities within company systems.
- Represent Foss Security professionally at all times.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable initiating conversations with new people.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Experience in sales, marketing, customer service, or business development is preferred, but not required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
