Foss Motor Company in Liberal, KS is looking for a Ford Certified Diesel Technician to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy-duty and medium-duty diesel vehicles. This role covers the full scope of diesel service work, including reading repair orders, troubleshooting malfunctions, executing repairs to manufacturer standards, and getting vehicles back to customers in top condition. Compensation is based on certifications and experience level.

What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair heavy-duty and medium-duty diesel vehicles per repair order specifications
- Inspect protective guards, fasteners, and safety devices and adjust as needed to meet manufacturer standards
- Test-drive vehicles after service to verify smooth operation and confirm repairs are complete
- Tag warranty parts and submit them to the warranty clerk following dealership procedures
- Adhere to all applicable safety requirements and published repair procedures on every job
- Stay current with factory technical bulletins and complete manufacturer-assigned training
- Keep your designated workspace clean and organized throughout the shift
- Return guest vehicles in the same condition they arrived
What We're Looking For
- Ford certification required
- 1 year of fleet or Ford dealership experience required; additional Ford dealership background is a strong plus
- ASE certification preferred
- Must supply own tools
- Self-motivated with a professional approach to repair work and customer interactions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
