About Us:
Foss Architecture Interiors is a leading architecture firm in healthcare, colleges & universities, K-12 schools, civic & government, corporate offices, multi-family residential, sports facilities, churches, hospitality, historic/adaptive reuse, retail and more. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our team as a Project Architect.
Required Qualifications:
- Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited university
- 2 years of experience in an architecture office
- Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office
- Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Enscape is preferred but not required
- Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Solid understanding of building systems, construction codes, and detailing
- Licensed or actively pursuing architectural licensure
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the design and documentation process from concept through construction.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, and team members to develop creative, buildable design solutions.
- Produce and oversee detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Ensure design intent and technical quality are maintained through all project phases.
- Conduct code reviews and coordinate with regulatory agencies as required.
- Participate in design presentations, client meetings, and project reviews.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to meet client and firm expectations.
- Support construction administration activities, including site visits, RFIs, and submittal reviews.
