Pay Range: Based on experience; $1,500 sign on bonus
About the Opportunity
Foshee Residential is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to support one of our apartment home communities in Mobile, AL. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in solving problems, and helps keep our community running smoothly day to day.
What You’ll Do
- Perform advanced maintenance and repairs including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry
- HVAC systems installation and repairs: including compressors, condensers and air handlers
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances and building systems
- Complete service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Follow all OSHA and safety regulations
- Provide strong customer service when interacting with community members
- Work both independently and as part of a team
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
- Assist with preventative maintenance and additional tasks as needed
- Train for advancement to a Maintenance V (Supervisor) position
What We’re Looking For
- 5 year of maintenance experience (multifamily preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems installation and repairs
- EPA & HVAC certification required
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong electrical and plumbing troubleshooting skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Comfortable responding to after-hours service calls
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments
