Fosdick Fulfillment has an immediate need for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures that all shipping/receiving documents and functions are completed accurately and on time.
- Prepares bills of lading or receipts for shipments and route.
- Checks that all orders are complete and that proper labels and tickets are applied.
- Verifies and records receipts.
- Distributes documentation to proper departments.
- Maintains good security habits at the docks.
- Assists in loading/unloading trucks and operates material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintains department files and route correspondence with carriers.
- Communicates with customers as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school degree or equivalent.
- The ability to read/write and comprehend all necessary work transactions.
- The ability to add, subtract, divide and multiply.
- The ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
- Efficient in Microsoft Office programs.

Typical warehouse surroundings with some moderately uncomfortable elements such as heat, cold, dust and equipment noise.
