Executive Officer
The Executive Officer (EO) serves as the primary administrator and point of contact for the Forx Builders Association. Reports to: The Forx Builders Association board of directors.
The Forx Builders Association was founded in 1974 to help promote, grow, and support the needs of homebuilders and contractors in the region. In our over 50 years in Grand Forks, we are proud to say that we serve as a voice for contractors not only locally, but across the state and the nation.
The three main components of this position are:
Membership Development
Our members are our number one priority. As our EO, your main focus will be to maintain our current membership, and generate new memberships. You will promote the organization within the community and make sure we serve as the voice of the homebuilding industry.
Administration
Direct and coordinate strategic priorities of the Forx Builders. Includes general/ office administration, financial management, financial reporting, marketing, preparing board meeting minutes, working with other local and national chapters.
Event Planning
Each year we host a variety of events geared towards engaging our builders and the community. As EO, you will work with our board and committees to plan and execute our events throughout the year.
Our major events are the home show (March), clay shoot (May), and golf outing (September). Our additional events are builders' socials, code meetings, meetings with legislative bodies, and much more!
Qualifications
A general understanding of the construction industry is a must. Qualified candidates will have experience in office administration and event planning, a can-do attitude, effective time management skills, and flexibility to work on different projects as they emerge. Preferred candidates will have the following:
- Experience in the construction industry
- Business administration background
- Marketing experience
Compensation/ Need to know
This posting is for a 32-hour per week position, Monday-Thursday from 8am-4:30pm.
Pay range is posted within the listing.
Please note that this position will require occasional evenings and weekends. Hybrid flexibility is available.
