Job Description:
- Successfully implement mobile robot fleets by leading on-site deployment projects and overcoming challenges related to robot deployment.
- Build strong, lasting relationships with client stakeholders—from warehouse managers and technical engineers to executives—by focusing on and achieving project milestones.
- Ensure clients achieve user proficiency and a high level of technical self-sufficiency through in-depth on-site training and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation and communication of detailed project plans for on-site robot deployment, including hardware, software, and network planning.
- Manage relationships with various client-side stakeholders through close communication and expectation management before, during, and after the on-site implementation of ForwardX solutions.
- Lead on-site implementation—from environmental and network setup to robot hardware and software configuration—by executing structured plans according to agreed-upon steps and overcoming unforeseen challenges.
- Optimize on-site solutions post-launch by executing established improvement protocols and trial-and-error methods to meet and exceed service-level agreements.
- Develop and deliver a detailed, localized training program for client personnel, ranging from equipment managers to frontline robot operators, including documentation.
- Document, analyze, and internally communicate detailed logs of on-site implementation activities to ensure continuous improvement.
About You:
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in robotics, engineering (industrial or mechanical), computer science, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in automated material handling equipment and solutions, advanced automation, robotics, or optimization in manufacturing and warehousing.
- 1 years of project management experience in a technical context, such as IT or complex professional system setup.
- Strong experience with ROS, Linux/Ubuntu, MySQL, and CAD software.
- General knowledge of VPNs, firewalls, and routers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English
