Description:We are seeing an experienced Behavioral Health Billing Specialist to handle all Medicaid billing functions for our agency. This role is responsible for accurate claim submission, resolving denials, maintaining compliance with Medicaid regulations, and supporting overall revenue cycle efficiency. Responsibilities:Submit and manage Medicaid claims for behavioral health servicesVerify documentation accuracy and proper coding (CPT/HCPCS, ICD-10)Track, correct, and resubmit rejected or denied claimsPost payments and reconcile remittancesMaintain compliance with Medicaid policies, HIPAA, and state regulationsCoordinate with clinicians and staff on documentation and authorizationsQualifications:Medical or behavioral health billing experienceStrong knowledge of Medicaid billing and behavioral health service codesExperience with EHR/billing systemsDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving skillsBilling/coding certification preferred but not requiredRequirements: Experience with medical billing and Medicaid billing. Experience with Sunwave, preferred.
