As Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for serving each customer quickly and efficiently with a sincere, friendly and enthusiastic attitude. Duties of this position include greeting, seating and cashing out restaurant customers, ensuring smooth flow of service, and assisting the servers and bartenders as needed. Other duties include but are not limited to, cleaning sections in the dining room as guests leave, transporting dishes to the kitchen, and disposing of trash. A qualified applicant must be at least 18 years old, have good customer contact skills, good communication skills, be able to operate a computer, and be able to lift 15 to 30 pounds. The desired candidate will be dependable, self motivated, people oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain customer focus. Applicants should be able to work weekends, holidays and varying shifts.
