Position: Strategic Capacity Brokerage Specialist - Flatbed

Pay Rate: $90k to $100k per year

Job Description

As a Strategic Capacity Brokerage Specialist - Flatbed your focus will be on supporting the growth and development of the Brokerage flatbed service offerings. As a team, our goal is to build this department around our customers’ freight. You will be responsible for providing flatbed logistics solutions to our customers, streamlining communications across all internal groups, building internal knowledge around flatbed best practices, and troubleshooting issues on flatbed loads.

Core Responsibilities & Duties

• Manage Flatbed inbound service email funnel
• Communicate effectively with clients, drivers, and team members to coordinate and update on load status and any changes that may occur
• Validate that Flatbed loads have been built accurately
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction with Flatbed services
• Contribute to the strategic growth and scaling of our department
• Provide support to our internal Flatbed team members as required
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Eagerness to learn and build a best-in-class service offering
• A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in a brokerage environment is required
• A minimum of 1-year specialized experience in Flatbed operations is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in using email as well as networking platforms such as Slack and Microsoft Teams, spreadsheets which include, Airtable and Excel is required
