Description & Requirements
What You Will Do:
- Lead and support finance transformation initiatives, identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement, standardization, automation, and sustainable change.
- Provide strategic perspectives on finance and accounting organizations, leveraging industry trends, market insights, and leading practices to help clients address key challenges and opportunities.
- Conduct and oversee assessments of business processes to identify inefficiencies, control gaps, and opportunities for operational improvement and value creation.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights through the development of interactive dashboards, reporting solutions, and analytics utilizing Power BI.
- Manage all aspects of engagement delivery, including planning, budgeting, staffing, execution, client communications, and the successful achievement of project objectives.
- Demonstrate sound judgment and independent thinking in engagement management, including problem-solving, solution development, risk identification, quality assurance, and stakeholder management.
- Support business development and go-to-market initiatives through proposal development, relationship management, identification of opportunities within existing client accounts, and delivery of exceptional client service.
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members by providing coaching, constructive feedback, performance management, and career development support while fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in accounting, finance transformation, finance process improvement, or finance advisory services.
- Knowledge of end-to-end finance and accounting processes, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Record-to-Report (R2R)
- Experience within or serving organizations across a variety of industries, including Manufacturing, Financial Services, Banking, Capital Markets, Insurance, or related industries.
- Experience within a consulting or professional services environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA Certification
- Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, or similar financial systems.
- Experience with R2R platforms such as Blackline and Trintech

New York City Pay Transparency
Pursuant to the pay transparency laws of New York State and other local ordinances within the state including (but not limited to) New York City, the salary range displayed is for the New York markets. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave. Forvis Mazars reserves the right to make changes to the salary range based on business needs.
