What You Will Do:
- Provide strategic oversight and leadership in delivering tax advisory and compliance services for client organizations, ensuring regulatory alignment and client value
- Lead business development efforts, cultivating C-suite relationships, expanding service offerings, and securing new engagements through thought leadership and strategic partnerships.
- Drive data strategy by championing the integration of advanced analytics and visualization platforms to deliver actionable insights and support executive decision-making.
- Shape organizational culture by fostering innovation, accountability, and continuous learning across multidisciplinary teams.
- Oversee complex tax research and insights, translating technical findings into actionable strategies for clients and firm leadership
- Ensure quality and compliance through high-level review of tax filings and risk management protocols
- Strengthen client relationships by delivering proactive, high-impact tax solutions and positioning the firm as a trusted advisor
- Drive a culture of client service excellence, fostering long-term partnerships and consistent engagement
- Develop and lead high-performing teams, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and career development
- Manage project execution and resource allocation, ensuring timely, efficient, and high-quality service delivery
- Expand market presence by representing the firm at industry events and cultivating new opportunities
- Maintain technical leadership through ongoing education, regulatory awareness, and internal knowledge sharing
- Promote thought leadership by authoring publications and leading firm-wide training initiatives
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's Degree or J.D. in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field
- 14 years of relevant progressive tax experience in public practice of accounting or related public policy (government, corporate tax and public accounting service combined);
- Current and valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Flexibility to travel for client engagements and internal meetings. Travel may include overnight stays.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PH.D or LL.M. in Taxation
