Job Description
FORVIS’ Technology practice is growing and needs more professionals! We are currently looking to add a Microsoft Dynamics GP Support Consultant to join our growing Microsoft SMB Team. The successful candidate will have a passion for enabling companies to operate their business more effectively using leading technologies and industry best practices. This role will work within our support center and on client projects.
How you will contribute:
Providing effective knowledge and capabilities in the Dynamics GP application, including the functional configuration, business processes, and technical architecture Troubleshooting and resolving Dynamics GP functional and technical support cases Troubleshooting and resolving Management Reporter support cases Managing client expectations and communication throughout the support process Delivering on projects with our Dynamics GP clients, including implementing new modules, improving processes, and providing training. Working with the technical and development team as needed to deliver upgrades, customizations, integrations, and custom reports Utilizing ERP implementation standards, tools, and documentation

Minimum Qualifications:
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional experience 3 years or more of functional experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, including a strong preference for the following modules:
Management Reporter Core financial (GL, AP, AR, Bank Rec, Fixed Assets) Distribution (Purchase Order, Sales Order, Inventory) Common third-party products (Mekorma, Binary Stream, etc) Integration Manager and/or eOne SmartConnect
Passionate about client service and Microsoft Dynamics GP Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP HR/Payroll, Manufacturing, and/or Analytical Accounting (or a willingness to learn) Comfortable with Microsoft SQL syntax, Dynamics GP table structure, and using SQL for report and SQL view design
