What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR & HSE Specialist position at FORVIA?
The HR & HSE Specialist supports to align the FORVIA people strategy with the local business needs. You will act as an administrative HR & HSE expert and be the trusted go to partner for the FORVIA employees in your perimeter.
Key Responsibilities
- Support recruitment activities (job postings, coordination, offer letters)
- Manage employee administration (records, HRIS updates, documentation)
- Respond to employee inquiries (payroll, HR topics, policies)
- Assist in implementing HR policies and procedures
- Support benefits administration and HR programs
- Contribute to training coordination and onboarding activities
- Provide general HR support on employee relations topics
HSE Support
- Support deployment of HSE programs and initiatives on site
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
- Assist with HSE reporting (incidents, near misses, audits)
- Support safety communication and employee awareness
- Coordinate with external providers (training, occupational health)
- Contribute to emergency preparedness and safety processes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to HSE
Minimum education level:
- BA / BSc HR, business administration or related
- MA / MSc HR, business administration or related preferred
Professional Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in an operative HR role
- Good understanding of organizational topics in an industrial setting
- Solid knowledge of local HR legislation
- Strong Business Partner acumen combined with a consultant mindset
Skills and competencies:
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluency in the local language and good English skills
- Very good MS Office skills
- First experience with HR management systems like SAP SuccessFactors is beneficial
