Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries at the front desk, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere
• Promote products through engaging demos and upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented
• Provide product information and conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits
• Manage phone etiquette by answering inquiries professionally, directing calls appropriately, and scheduling appointments when needed
• Assist with inventory management tasks such as stocking, merchandising, and inventory counts to ensure product availability

Requirements

• Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred, especially in grocery or specialty stores
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in both English and another language (bilingual preferred)
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for those interested in growth opportunities
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions and inventory management
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally
• Knowledge of retail math concepts such as discounts, totals, and profit margins is beneficial
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with physical activities like stocking and merchandising
