Install, repair, and maintain hydraulic and electrical drilling equipment, including iron roughnecks, catwalks, and laydown machines. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Must understand and comply with all company safety rules and regulations.
- Install, repair, and maintain hydraulic and electrical drilling equipment.
- Must be willing to travel (~75% Travel), including overnight travel.
- Travel primarily within the U.S., with potential for international assignments.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Work long hours in various weather conditions.
- Maintain detailed service records and complete required documentation.
- Stay organized and manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to relocate and work out of Permian Basin area.
Skills/Knowledge
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field.
- Familiarity with oilfield drilling equipment and operations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Valid drivers license
Education
- High School Diploma required.
- Technical training or the equivalent preferred.
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in field service, specifically with hydraulic and electrical systems.
This is a safety sensitive position.
