What are the responsibilities and job description for the Founding Account Executive position at Forty5Park?
Who We Are
Forty5Park is building the physical asset intelligence layer for institutional real estate.
Private real estate firms manage billions in assets on spreadsheets. A single owner holds thousands of assets across different managers, each sending differently formatted Excel files, and an analyst burns weeks a month reconciling them before anyone can make a decision.
We replace that with an intelligence layer that turns messy, scattered data into trusted analysis, powered by AI built for how institutional real estate actually works. The whole portfolio and new acquisitions in one place, down to the unit, so a firm can run any analysis across every asset they own, instantly.
We are backed by leading venture investors and veteran operators from the institutional real estate world, and we count some of the world's largest REPE firms among our partners. This is an early, high-ownership role, and the person in this seat has a rare opportunity to shape the future of our sales organization.
The Role
This is our first AE and it is a founding seat. You own enterprise accounts end to end: hunting net-new logos across real estate private equity and expanding those relationships. You run the full cycle, from first conversation to signed agreement, alongside the co-founders.
What Makes This Role Different
- Be at the forefront of bringing AI into the world's largest asset class, and own how we sell it
- Present to C-level executives at top institutional real estate firms through live demos, in person and over the web
- Run the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and close
- Own the accounts you land, drive their expansion, and benefit from the growth
- Work shoulder to shoulder with founders and product, turning what you hear in the market into how we sell and what we build
Ideal Background
- Scrappy and high-autonomy. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring a deep sense of ownership to everything you touch
- 3-5 years running the full sales cycle of a complex, consultative solution, from cold outreach to close
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and closing complex deals
- Experience selling to senior executives (VP, SVP, C-suite)
- Strong discovery, negotiation, and deal-strategy skills
- Ability to conduct creative outbound prospecting to build pipeline, supported by our CRM with budget for additional tooling.
- Comfortable operating independently through long, consultative sales cycles
- Strong interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills
- Prior proptech experience preferred. Open to non-traditional candidates coming directly from real estate private equity, especially paired with strong AI tooling proficiency
Benefits
- Competitive salary plus meaningful equity, you're an owner of what you're building
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
- NYC/Miami (in-office)
- Flexible PTO
- 401K
