What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Labor- Seafood position at Fortune International, LLC?
The Warehouse Associate serves as a member of the Fortune Fish & Gourmet’s Seafood operations team. The incumbent’s key responsibility is to maintain Fortune’s facility and equipment at the highest levels of cleanliness to ensure product quality and process integrity. Other tasks include assisting with sorting, box making, sticker, packing, put aways, and general cleanup.
Schedule- Days! Start time 4am to finish Monday-Friday
Description
- Understand and execute assigned daily workload safely, accurately, on-time, and on-budget.
- Actively offer feedback and suggestions for improvement to the Production Supervisor.
- Embrace and understand the data driven approach utilized in the production room.
- Be a daily supporter of Fortune’s mission/vision/values.
- Maintains cleanliness of production area and equipment.
- Follows company policies to ensure food safety and quality. Works to maintain and improve the sanitation process at Fortune.
- Adheres to all established GMP procedures and guidelines during the execution of the job.
- Will use appropriate cleaning solutions during the sanitation process
- Maintains accurate records of cleaned areas in accordance with SOP.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all Fortune Team Members.
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience: One year of cleaning in a food processing environment preferred
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Work Ethic: Demonstrated desire to work in an exciting and fast-paced environment. Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
- Communications: Either English or Spanish verbal communication skills.
- Any combination of the above criteria will also be considered.
