Job Overview
As a Residential Coordinator, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents in our care. You will lead a dedicated team in providing exceptional support to individuals with diverse needs, including those with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s, and dementia. Your compassionate approach and expertise in assisted living will ensure that every resident receives personalized attention and care tailored to their unique requirements.
What you’ll do
- Oversee daily operations within the residential facility, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all residents.
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Implement behavior management strategies to support residents with developmental disabilities and promote positive interactions.
- Monitor vital signs and health status of residents, reporting any changes to the nursing team promptly.
- Coordinate care plans with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring that all aspects of resident care are addressed effectively.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and documentation related to resident care and activities.
- Facilitate engaging social activities that promote community involvement and enhance residents’ quality of life.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the facility, adhering to health and safety standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in senior care or long-term care settings, such as nursing homes or retirement homes.
- Familiarity with assisted living environments and working with individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
- Hands-on experience with caregiving tasks, including using Hoyer lifts for mobility assistance.
- Knowledge of first aid practices and emergency response protocols is essential.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, families, and external stakeholders.
- Experience using EMR systems for documentation purposes is preferred.

Pay: $22.64 - $24.00 per hour
